Kaipātiki is the home to an amazing variety of native birds.
The population and diversity of species looks like they are on the rise as a result or volunteer predator control and bush restoration.
Kaipātiki is fortunate to have significant ecological sensitive areas that provide habitats for nesting and food source for our native birds.
Kaipātiki is doing its part to deliver the North West Wildlife Link that provides a flight path and sanctuary for birds between the Waitakere Ranges and the Gulf Islands.
