Chatswood Halo
Do you live within the Halo area?
Containing 300 year old kauri, aquatic habitats rich with wildlife and a diverse community of birds, Chatswood Halo is one Kaipātiki's most spectacular jewels. The reserve is one of the remaining remnants of the ancient forest that covered the North Shore and provides a glimpse back in time to Auckland's history.
The halo area is bordered by Onetaunga Road, Balmain Road, Mokoia Road and Porritt Avenue, and contains Chatswood reserve and Kauri Point Centennial Park.
