New Year, fresh start!

Do you like the idea of working alongside a team of volunteers passionate about restoring native biodiversity? Are you motivated? With initiative and drive? Able to work independently - and also as part of a team?

Pest Free Kaipātiki Restoration Society (PFK) is a community-led organisation with a small team of restoration specialists complemented by an engine room of fantastic volunteers and working closely with the Local Board and Council officers.

We are delighted to be improving the support we give to our volunteers and enhancing our presence in the restoration space with the expansion of our team. We have two roles to fill:

Events Activator, casual, average 10 hours /week

Admin superstar, part time 20 hours/week

The ‘Events Activator’ role requires you to be flexible about work hours as it will entail weekend and evening work and travel around the Kaipātiki Local Board area. You must also have your own transport and a current, clean driving licence - travel costs will be reimbursed.

The 'Admin Superstar' role is Monday to Friday based at our office in Birkenhead, providing much needed support to our small but hard working team.

Applicants for these positions should be able to provide evidence of NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

If you are looking for a job in which you can really make a difference to our natural environment, then please apply by sending your Covering Letter and CV to our Manager, Bronwen Harper at recruitment@pestfreekaipatiki.org.nz

Your covering letter should outline your experience and why you’d be interested in the role, and your CV should show your relevant skills, experience and qualifications and your availability.

Applications close at 5pm on Friday

Late applications may be considered in special circumstances.
