Do you live within the Halo area?

Kauri Glen reserve and the adjoining Cecil Eady Bush and City View reserve are home to magnificent stands of kauri.  This ancient forest in the heart of Kaipātiki is a special place indeed.

The Halo area is encapsulated by the main roads that surround Kauri Glen: Pupuke Road, Raleigh Road, Lake Road, Onewa Road and Birkenhead Avenue.  If you live within this area we need your help to protect this special place.  Find out about all the ways you can contribute below.

For more information...

Visit the Kauri Glen Bush Group Facebook Page to connect with people in the Halo, join discussions, find out about events and how you can get involved.

The Kauri Glen Halo Community Plan, which can be downloaded by clicking the image on the left, contains more information on the restoration work that has been developed for the area.
