Help make your patch pest free by borrowing the right equipment

Time: 9am-11am
Venue: The basement of the Birkenhead Senior Citizens Hall, 251 Hinemoa St, Birkenhead (opposite Birkenhead Library - go down the driveway - the BSCA hall is on your left as you go down to the Le Roys Bush boardwalk)

For the actual dates, please see our:

2020 Pest Free Kaipatiki Toolshed page on Facebook

Drop by to borrow weeding tools and safety gear. We have small sickles perfect for cutting ginger and moth plant, metgel herbicide, loppers, and more.

You can also collect rat (or stoat) traps or bait stations so you can join the next predator pulse!

If you are in a designated enhanced halo area you may be eligible to borrow free predator control equipment - but we will ask you in exchange to record your predator control work in our EcoTrack app.

Note: Timm's possum traps can also be purchased for $40 from the Auckland Council Glenfield Service Centre Desk, 90 Bentley Ave (next to Glenfield Library).
